How do I restart my Journey?

Restarting the current Journey can be very useful if you need to start fresh or approach your Journey with a new angle. In doing so, you have two options.

 

First, you can keep all your habits and stats but just restart a Journey. This means you will get the letters from the beginning as well as the one-time actions and motivators. But you will not lose any rituals, habits, or alarms you've set up.

 

To do this, simply go to Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Fresh Start! Re-start The Journey

 

Alternatively, you can start over from scratch. This means you'll start as if you'd never downloaded the app. You'll lose all your rituals, habits, and alarms. To do this you need to uninstall the app, restart your phone, and reinstall it from the app store. If you've backed up your progress with our cloud backup, then you need to make sure to not restore your progress after reinstalling.

 

But make sure, if you do the full restart, to log in with your Google account to get your Sphere back.

Why is the “Drink Water” challenge already showing the first day complete? I only did that as practice!

When you downloaded Fabulous for the first time, you went through a quick tutorial. During that tutorial, we asked you to check off a habit as complete so that you knew how to. That counted as your first completion!

 

So don't worry that it's been marked as done twice. It's a free little head start! :)

 

In the future, be careful to never mark a habit as complete if you haven't done it, because as you may have noticed, you can't undo a habit completion. This is because we want to make the act of completing a habit a sacred thing.

 

This way, whenever you finish a habit and get to tap the check, it feels like a little victory, an irreversible step towards a more Fabulous you!

How do I uncheck a habit?

It turns out that we don’t want you unmarking habits as complete! But this isn’t a glitch, we do it on purpose.

 

In the future, be careful to never mark a habit as complete if you haven't done it. This is because we want to make the act of completing a habit a sacred thing.

 

This way, whenever you finish a habit and get to tap the check, it feels like a little victory, an irreversible step towards a more Fabulous you!

How do I delete a ritual?

Deleting rituals is easy, but if you just want to delete one or two habits inside a ritual instead of the whole ritual, you can do that too. See “How do I delete a habit?”.

 

When it comes to deleting Rituals, follow these steps:

  1. From the home screen, scroll down to the ritual you want to remove.
  2. Note that you can't delete the Morning, Afternoon, or Evening Rituals as they are the default ones.
  3. Tap on it to bring up the habit checklist, you should see your habits listed with checkboxes next to them.
  4. Tap the 3 dots icon on the right side of your screen, then tap “Edit Alarm”.
  5. Scroll down to the bottom and tap "Delete this Ritual"

How do I change habit duration?

To change the duration of a habit:

 

  1. From the home screen, scroll down to the bottom and find the Ritual that contains the habit you want to edit.
  2. Tap on the Ritual.
  3. You should see a list of all the habits contained in the Ritual, now tap the 3 dots icon next to the + symbol near the middle right hand of the screen.
  4. Tap “Reorder and Remove Habits”. This takes you to the "Reorder and Edit" screen. Find the Habit you want to edit and tap the three vertical dots to the right of it.
  5. Tap "Adjust Habit Duration" and set whatever time you like. 0H 00M works just fine if you don't want a timer, then hit OK.
  6. Tap the checkmark icon on the upper left.

How do I delete a habit?

To remove a habit from a Ritual:

 

  1. From the home screen, scroll down to the bottom and find the Ritual that contains the habit you want to remove.
  2. Tap on the Ritual
  3. You should see a list of all the habits contained in the Ritual, now tap the 3 dots icon next to the + symbol near the middle right hand of the screen.
  4. Tap “Reorder and Remove Habits”. This takes you to the "Reorder and Edit" screen. Find the Habit you want to remove and tap the 3 dots icon to the right of it.
  5. Tap "Remove Habit"
  6. Tap the checkmark icon on the upper left.

How do I customize my ritual?

To customize your Rituals, this is all you have to do!

 

  1. From the home screen, scroll down to the bottom and find the Ritual you want to edit.
  2. Tap on the Ritual.
  3. Tap on the 3 dots icon on the right side of your screen, then tap “Edit Alarm”.
  4. This takes you to the screen allowing you to customize your ritual.
  5. These are some of the customizations available for your ritual:
    • Urgency swipe makes the habit timer start as soon as the Ritual Alarm launches
    • Announce First Habit will have a voice say the first habit out loud
    • Ring Even in Silent Mode will make the habit sound even if your phone is on mute. This is great if you mute your phone before bed but want it to go off in the morning.
  6. Tap on the image to choose a new one from the list
  7. Tap the check in the upper left-hand corner when you're done!

How do I change the ritual title?

  1. From the home screen, scroll down to the bottom and find the Ritual you want to edit.
  2. Tap on the Ritual’s title.
  3. Tap on the 3 dots icon on the right side of your screen, then tap “Edit Alarm”.
  4. You can change the name of the Ritual by tapping on the name and replacing it with any texts, or even emoji!

How do I change my ritual alarms?

  1. From the home screen, scroll down to the bottom and find the Ritual you want to edit.
  2. Tap on the Ritual’s title.
  3. Tap on the 3 dots menu on the right side of your screen, then tap “Edit Alarm”.
  4. To change which days the alarm is active (you won't lose your streak if you don't complete the habit on inactive days), just tap on the day's to cycle them on or off.
  5. To change the time the habit goes off, just tap on the current time and set a new one!
  6. Scroll down to edit the other Alarm settings if you wish.

How do I change my ritual alarms?

  1. From the home screen, scroll down to the bottom and find the Ritual you want to edit.
  2. Tap on the Ritual’s title.
  3. Tap on the 3 dots menu on the right side of your screen, then tap “Edit Alarm”.

Can I do two Journeys at once?

We don't allow users to do multiple Journeys at once. The reason for this is because habits are ingrained better when you focus totally on one habit at a time and make sure to complete it for a few days before moving on.

 

Overloading yourself with too many habits when you're feeling motivated is quite counterproductive. You might be able to stick to the huge list for a while, but eventually, you'll get discouraged and stop all of them!

 

If you really want to take on more habits, just add a custom habit to a ritual, but please be conservative about this and only add one new one at a time. Once you've done it for a few days and are comfortable with your ability to keep up with the new habit, then you can try adding a new one.

How do I restore my journey progress?

Sphere users can restore their journey progress. To restore your information, go ahead and open up your Fabulous app. Then, tap the 3 bars icon in the top left corner of the screen. Then select "Settings". In the top right of your screen, tap on where it says "Sphere". Then, select "Restore Journey Progress".

How do I sync my progress across multiple devices?

We don’t currently support this. Send us an email if you’re hoping we’ll add this in the future.

My ritual alarms aren’t working.

To fix your alarm, follow these steps:

  1. Many phones have a power saving feature enabled. Go to settings, scroll down to alarm settings, tap on "Alarm not Working" and read these instructions.
  2. Open up your Fabulous app, then select one of your routines you would like to have an alarm for. Tap on the 3 dots icon towards the right side of your screen, then select "Edit Alarm". Here you will see the options for your alarm, including the time, days, and notification style. Go ahead and make sure these settings are all set the way you'd like.

How can I disable the sounds from the app?

  1. From the home page of your Fabulous app, tap on the 3 bars icon in the top left corner of your screen.
  2. Select “Settings”.
  3. Scroll down, and you will see a few settings related to sounds. Here you can check which you’d like to be on, and un-check those you’d prefer to be off.

How can I see old letters and motivators I have dismissed?

To access letters you have dismissed, follow these steps:

 

  1. Open your Fabulous app
  2. Swipe from the right side to the left side of your screen twice.
  3. Tap on whichever challenge corresponds with the letter you'd like to read again.
  4. Tap on the letter/motivator you'd like to read.

How can I mark a past habit as complete?

To edit previous day's habit completion, follow these steps:

 

  1. Select the ritual you'd like to edit.
  2. Towards the left side of your screen, you will see a small triangle pointing towards the left. It's right next to where it says "Today". Tap on that triangle.
  3. You will see yesterday's habits that were completed. If you'd like, you can check off other habits that you successfully completed.

What languages do you support?

Currently, we support French, Spanish, German, Simplified Chinese, and English. Sphere is not available in Traditional Chinese yet.

 

To change the language in Fabulous, you’ll need to change the language in your phone settings.

How does Fabulous work? I’m confused.

Fabulous is a companion that helps you develop new habits in the form of rituals. We start you off developing your morning ritual (which works like a routine).

 

Each ritual will have multiple habits in it. One of the habits you've seen includes the "Drink Water" habit. This habit should be in your morning ritual. In order to develop these new habits, you will receive challenges.

 

These challenges will tell you to complete a habit a certain amount of times in a certain time frame to complete the challenge. For example, the first challenge is to drink water three times. To do this, you will wake up in the morning and drink water. Simultaneously, your ritual should be running to guide you what habit is next.

 

Once you've completed a habit, mark it as complete. Each time you mark the "drink water" habit as complete, it will count towards your challenge.

I’m lacking motivation and have fallen behind. What should I do?

May I recommend the "Fresh Start!" module? You can access this by tapping on the launch button in the bottom right corner of your screen, then "Make Me Fabulous", then "Get Inspired", then "Fresh Start!".
